Uke-can Do It! An Introductory Ukulele Workshop

Join us at The Why? for a 4-week series directed by Colin Reid where we will explore the foundations of learning and performing popular songs on the Ukulele. In this workshop you will learn the basics of the ukulele, chord progressions, playing in a group, and preparing songs to perform. This workshop is designed for anyone who is interested in learning the basics of music and playing the ukulele. There will also be an option for students to begin practicing singing while playing, but the main focus will be on learning and playing ukulele chords in a group context.

  • No musical experience necessary!

  • Students must bring their own ukulele of any shape and size

  • Chord charts and learning materials will be provided

  • Classes will be held on Sundays from 4:30pm - 5:30pm (March 8th, 15th, 22nd, 29th)

  • All ages are welcome!

  • Max class size - 11 people

  • $80 for all 4 sessions
